Beast Master title?
Any thoughts on a title featuring number of different animals tamed and leveled to 20?
I think there are nearly 30 tameable animals across all games, I know I have leveled 10 or more pets to 20 (including ranger heroes). This would give me a reason to bring the Ranger out to play again.

Technically being a Ranger wouldn't help the progression of this title, as Beast Mastery doesn't affect the rate of experience gaining. With this in mind... maybe.
An interesting idea, but it would become a horrible grind title in no time. Think about it, as soon as you change pets, all of your work on the previous pet is meaningless except for the title. Perhaps if it was account-wide this would not be an issue, and maybe help encourage a few players to buy more character slots, who knows.
Again it's interesting, but would be misconstrued to be a Ranger specific or favored title and add more grind to the game. As such, I do not support this suggestion in its current form.

Not available to people playing classes other than Ranger unless they go x/R just for a pet. And if you mean to tell me a Mo/R using a pet and healing a team is effective, you suck.
We do not need more titles, and this one is biased on class requirement.

Not a bad idea but you would have to change a few things...I would suggest adding an npc, perhaps in your hall that allows you to switch between different lvl 20 pets. This way if you felt like breaking out any of the pets that you have charmed and leveled to 20. I do not believe that this title would be biased to rangers because how many rangers actually use beast mastery in the first place now days? In addition Leveling ur pets isn't usually do in teams anyway so who cares if ur a Mo/R.... In addition Anet already has forced people to take all secondary professions if you are doing the skill hunting title so I don't see how you can honestly say it is biased to the ranger profession since beast mastery is not a primary attribute.
That being said the idea fails because we do not need any more mindless grinding or titles the 26 PVE based titles are enough thank you.

Even as a primary Ranger, I've never played a beastmaster build before, because it's just plain boring. Leveling all those pets to level 20 is just useless grinding.

Most pets can be death levelled within an hour or so. You don't need to take a pet with you except with a few specific pets like the Phoenix and the UW Spider, and players can easily farm experience for their pets on their own in explorable areas.

You mean secondary proffession requirement? Pretty sure anyone can go /R once they have ascended, not really biased at all.
Signed if more options were given in relation to pets, maybe a stable of some kind perhaps for a start.
As for grinding, a decent player could probably do this within a week at the most.

The idea is that you get your pet to 20. Try reading before posting next time!
Agreed with MagmaRed.

I don't completely agree with that. All though everyone is able to get */R, a R/* has an advantage over the rest. While a Ranger can run any build, he just has to sacrifice one skill slot to Charm Animal, a */R can't. They are bound to use a Ranger's secondary, which is useless for most professions.

Actually, a mid or back line profession can equip Charm Animal only. Just be sure to set the pet to "Heel" and it will pretty much stay out of combat. I leveled up a Rainbow Phoenix by Vanquishing this way and had no problems.
As for the OP's suggestion: /not signed. It'd be too easy to achieve in conjunction with other titles such as Vanquishing, Cartography, Protector, etc. (But it would be kinda fun to do just to say "I did it.")

You guys are acting like it's hard to charm and level up a pet or that it gimps you really badly.
I look at it like this. I can go into said explorable area with my heroes and hench, find the pet, flag heroes and death level it, then charm it. Pet acquired with very little effort. How hard is that? How does that gimp my bar in any way when my primary goal is to capture death levelled pet in the easiest manner possible? I don't need any other secondary proffession, neither does anyone else with common sense, if you do then it adds to the challenge of the title.
If you want to charm a pet with your character you will always have to go Ranger secondary (and most people do charm a pet at some point with their main whether they care to admit it or not), it makes absolutely no difference, all that matters is that it's available to everyone to achieve, which it is. I mean you'll be complaining about acquiring Legendary Survivor with a caster because they have lower armour than a Warrior or Paragon, surely that gimps you? No?
You're acting like the only way to level up your pet is to use it in missions and elite areas where running it outside of a pet team build would be an issue. That is not the case, neither is this even hard to implement.

I meant... well I meant... I normally never run */R. And I pretty much always use at least one 'vital' (read: useful and needed to run a certain build) secondary skill. From this point of view, equipping a pet with R/* has less 'side-effects' then with */R.

Unlike you, some people like to play the game the normal way, rather than death leveling a pet or (ab)using brawling to get to LS.
If this title does get implemented, which it probably won't anyway, I wouldn't want to death level my pet. I would simply want to take it with me on missions, vanquishes etc. From this point of view a Ranger has an advantages over any other profession, because it's not being forced to use the Ranger secondary, which is useless for casters.

No, because the different profession do not only have different armours, they also have different roles in the game play.
Try to think outside the box for once, cupcake. Not everybody does things your way.

Unlike me? Whatever floats your boat. However who are you to tell anyone else how to play the game? I'll play the game how I damn well please, I care less of what you or anyone else thinks about how I may or may not achieve a title in a videogame.

And like anything else in this game, it's your choice to do it that way, no one is forcing you to. Oh wait, a Ranger has the slight advantage because Charming an animal is within its proffessions attribute lines, it's such a huge deal, oh noez whatever shall we do?!

Now you're starting to get the hang of it. Some classes are much easier than others to level up as Legendary Survivors, alot of things can be taken into account for that, I just named one thing.

I honestly don't care. I don't have a chance to get Survivor or LDoA, but at least with this I wouldn't have to max Kurzick, not that it's a good idea for a title. >.>

/notsigned. I can level a pet to 20 in about an hour. I'd max this title in 2 days.
No more titles on silver platters, please.
